About us

ACA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Troy, Michigan (EIN: 39-2854086). Our volunteers are dedicated to “giving back” to well-deserving STEM graduates by providing meaningful professional development opportunities and supportive mentorship.

ACA’s community-service STEM projects are offered through two primary pathways:

(1) Riipen.com, which supplies roughly 60% of ACA’s collaborative training projects.

(2) Independent project tracks, available when a Riipen project does not align with a student’s academic major or career direction.

Our ideal outcome is for each student to work on a project that closely aligns with their career goals—allowing them to demonstrate their abilities in interviews through a polished presentation, portfolio, or technical report.

ACA has conducted countless mock interviews, and it’s remarkable how even highly talented STEM graduates can benefit from guidance in this area. STEM students are diligent, hardworking, and academically strong—but many have never learned how to earn an “A+” in an interview.

That’s where ACA helps, too.
